Kage leads new investment and development activities at HSG while overseeing the financial structuring of HSG’s portfolio.  He is actively involved in the financial analysis, project design, entitlement process, construction management, leasing strategy and asset management.  During his tenure at HSG, Kage has been involved in over $1 billion of residential and commercial real estate transactions across the country including 2.0mm+ square feet and 1,500+ residential units. 

In addition to his role at HSG, Kage founded HSG Medical, an affiliate of HSG, in 2023 to exclusively focus on medical ground up development, asset repositioning, acquisitions and leasing services. 

Prior to joining the real estate industry, Kage was an analyst in the investment banking division of Bank of America Merrill Lynch.  Kage holds a BA Degree in Economics from the University of Michigan and received his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.  Kage is also a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and serves on the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab Associate Board.

Outside of work, Kage enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.
